e-Service for the provision of subscribers’ data to telecom, internet and pay-TV providers

This digital service enables authorized telecom, internet and pay-TV providers to access subscriber data from official government records, either when entering into a new service contract or when updating the details of existing customers. Instead of presenting printed documents with identification or contact information, citizens can consent to the electronic transfer of their data directly from the State’s official registries to the provider.

The aim of the service is to streamline the onboarding process for fixed and mobile telephony, internet access, and pay-TV subscriptions, making it faster and more convenient for both users and service providers.

Data is retrieved directly from government-held primary information systems and is not stored in the electronic service.

Citizens may access the service:

• via the digital environment of the selected provider,

• through a personalised link sent to them by the provider, or

• via a notification on their gov.gr Wallet app. All data is shared only with the citizens’ explicit consent, which must be given every time a provider requests access.

This process ensures both the protection of one’s personal data and the accurate transmission of up-to-date information from trusted public sources.
